This Art Edition (No. 36–135) comes with the exclusive archival pigment print The Fall of Tyll, 2020, for which the artist has painted on a 1795 map of the world, opening a dialog with the past and speaking to his own unending sense of discovery. The large-format print is reproduced in 11 colors on cotton paper and signed by Julian Schnabel. The accompanying oversize limited-edition monograph was made in close collaboration with Julian Schnabel. It is numbered and also signed by the artist, and housed in a clamshell box.
